CA Flat Fee Listings, Inc. (“CA Flat Fee,” “we,” “us”) is a California real estate brokerage, DRE# 02126315. This policy explains what personal information we collect through caflatfee.com and our phone lines, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
Information you give us
When you fill out a form, use the chat or contact buttons, or call or text us, we collect what you provide. That is usually your name, email address and phone number, plus details about your home or your plans, such as an address, a price range or a timeline.
Information collected automatically
When you visit our site, we and our partners use cookies, pixels and similar tools to collect:
- your IP address, browser, device type and approximate location;
- the pages you view, the links you click, and how you reached us, such as the ad, search or website that sent you and the tracking codes in the link (for example Google click IDs and UTM tags);
- a visitor ID stored in a cookie, so we can connect a later visit or form to how you first found us. Our own cookies last up to one year.
Phone calls
Our site shows CallRail tracking numbers. When you call one, CallRail logs the number you called from, the time and length of the call, and the page or ad that led to it. Calls to our numbers are recorded for quality and training.
How we use your information
- To answer you and provide the real estate services you ask about, by phone, text or email.
- To assign your inquiry to an agent and keep a record of our conversations.
- To send information you request, such as guides or market updates. You can unsubscribe anytime.
- To measure and improve our ads and our website.
- To show our ads to you on other websites and apps.
- To keep spam and fraud out of our forms, and to meet the recordkeeping rules for licensed brokerages.
Advertising and analytics partners
- Google Ads, Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager. Google uses cookies to measure visits and ad results and to show our ads to people who have visited our site (remarketing). When you submit a form, we send your email address and phone number to Google in hashed (scrambled) form so Google can match the form to an ad click. Google calls this enhanced conversions. - Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram). Meta collects information about your visit to measure our ads and to show our ads to you on Facebook and Instagram. https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy
- Follow Up Boss, our customer relationship system. If you have given us your contact details or clicked a link in one of our emails, it records the pages you view on our site so your agent can follow up on what interests you.
- Adform, an advertising platform that measures our ads.
- Google reCAPTCHA, which checks that a form is filled in by a person. https://policies.google.com/privacy
- Chaty, the chat, call and text buttons on our site.
- YouTube, for videos on our pages. YouTube may set cookies when you play a video.
Who we share your information with
We do not sell or rent the contact details you give us. We share personal information only:
- with our agents and staff who handle your inquiry;
- with service providers that work for us, such as our website host, our customer relationship system (Follow Up Boss), the tool that moves form entries into it (Zapier), our phone and call tracking providers, and our email provider;
- with the advertising and analytics partners above, as described there;
- if you become a client, with the people your transaction needs, such as escrow, title, lenders, inspectors and the other party’s agent;
- when the law requires it, to protect our rights, or as part of a sale or merger of our business.
We do not share your personal information with other companies for their own direct marketing.
Your choices
- Cookies: We use cookies and similar tools for the purposes described above. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and use the opt-outs below to limit how Google, Meta and other ad networks use your information.
- Google: ad settings at https://adssettings.google.com, and the Google Analytics opt-out add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout
- Meta: ad preferences in your Facebook or Instagram settings.
- Interest-based ads in general: https://optout.aboutads.info and https://optout.networkadvertising.org
- Email: use the unsubscribe link in any email from us.
- Texts: reply STOP.
- Review, correct or delete your information: contact us below. We will respond within a reasonable time. We may need to keep records that real estate and tax laws require a brokerage to keep.
Do Not Track
Some browsers send a “Do Not Track” signal. Our site does not currently respond to it. To limit tracking, block cookies in your browser or use the opt-outs above.
How long we keep information
We keep inquiry and client records as long as we need them to serve you and as long as real estate and tax laws require. Cookies last from the end of your visit up to two years, depending on the cookie.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No website or system is completely secure.
Children
Our site is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
California residents
California law lets you review and correct the personal information you have given us through this site. Contact us below to do that.
Changes to this policy
When we change this policy, we post the new version here with a new effective date.
